Dedicated to the Deity Cingshuei Zushih, this temple has been rebuilt several times, and is now under the supervision of Taiwan’s prominent artist Li Mei-shu. Numerous old residences and buildings, mostly with elaborately adorned facades, are located on the historic streets of Sansia. The stationers and mom and pop stores of yesteryear take you back to the early times. Yingge has long been known as the “ceramics” capital of Taiwan. Travelers from near and far visit the place to view and buy fine artistic ceramic pieces.
